ABSTRACT. The stationary speed of the aerosol particle entrained by the positive viscous flow was calculated. It was shown that in the first approximation in Knudsen number, that speed was proportional to the temperature gradient and inversely proportional to the viscosity of the medium where the particle moved. It was proved that Maxwell slip effect appeared in the second approximation in Knudsen number.
Keywords: Knudsen’s number, viscosity, slip effect of Maxwell, temperature gradient
